Made-to-Order & Dispatch Times

Most Chimera Lab pieces are made to order and dispatch within 3–5 business days after your order is placed.

Items marked as pre-order on the product listing dispatch within 30 days. Please check the product title and description for the dispatch time that applies to your chosen piece.

Dispatch time is separate from delivery time. The delivery estimates below start once your order has been shipped.

Why made to order?

Chimera Lab produces in small quantities to avoid overproduction and waste. Each piece is made with printed materials, hand-finished details, and limited production capacity, so the made-to-order system helps keep the process more intentional and sustainable.

Choosing Our Carriers

We utilize reputable shipping services such as GLS, UPS, and DHL to ensure your order arrives safely and on time. The choice of carrier is made based on the destination and the best available service.

Shipping Rates

We ship worldwide from within the EU.

Europe: €9.90 · Free shipping from €100

We ship to most countries in the European Union, as well as the United Kingdom, Norway, Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and the Åland Islands.

  • Orders below €100: €9.90 flat-rate shipping.
  • Orders of €100 or more: free standard shipping.

All European orders are tracked. Estimated delivery after dispatch is usually 2–6 business days within the EU and 2–7 business days for other European destinations, depending on your location and customs handling where applicable.

International: €20 · Free shipping from €250

For destinations outside Europe:

  • Orders below €250: €20 flat-rate shipping.
  • Orders of €250 or more: free standard shipping.

Chimera Lab covers part of the international shipping cost to make it more accessible. Delivery times and shipping options vary depending on the destination, carrier availability, and customs regulations. All orders are tracked.

Estimated Delivery

After your item has been dispatched, standard delivery times typically follow:

  • EU: 2–6 business days
  • UK, Norway, Switzerland and nearby non-EU countries: 4–7 business days, excluding customs handling
  • USA, Canada, Australia, Japan: 6–10 business days, excluding customs handling
  • Rest of the world: 6–15 business days, excluding customs handling

These are estimates and could vary based on external factors.

Customs and Duties

Depending on your location, orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, or handling fees upon arrival. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost unless clearly stated at checkout and are the responsibility of the customer.

Unfortunately, we cannot estimate or control these fees, as they vary by country. We recommend checking with your local customs authority for the most accurate information before placing an order.

Local EU Sourcing

We are committed to sourcing responsibly. Our textile printing is done within the EU, and we prioritize European-based suppliers for materials and trimmings. For unique, one-of-a-kind pieces, we incorporate materials from local thrift stores. This approach supports small businesses, reduces waste, and helps lower our carbon footprint.
